I am Stephen Kudabeck. My wife, Donna, and I have been in the natural health world together for nearly 50 years. My wife’s family was into natural living since she was a little girl so this has been her life-long lifestyle for over 60 years, and it is the way we reared our 6 children. They shopped at a little health food store in DesPlaines, Illinois, which was one of the first in the Chicago area, more than 60 years ago.
The health food store was, literally, just a few doors away from the very first McDonald’s which was quite ironic. One business with herbs, natural grains, and everything wholesome, and the other with even artificial milkshakes at the time. Needless to say, they did not eat at McDonald’s.:)
We had home-births, my wife nursed our children a long time. She always made our meals natural and from scratch, etc. I have been in the alternative health field for over 40 years practicing many modalities.
