There is a plant that has properties that are very unique. It has been used for millenniums for many uses including healing. Past cultures determined its value and made frequent use of it for so many things.

That is just one scripture regarding plants for food. Oils became very precious in biblical days. The story about the widow who, when given the gift of jars of olive oil whose supply never ran out so she and her children were financially secure, is one that most people are familiar. That was quite a gift to a woman on her own at the time.
With research, we find that oils have different characteristics and values according to their ratios of Omega 6 to 3, and GLA, or EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids), to 
important proteins that the body needs, and to the amount of oil produced or that the seeds hold. People use flaxseed oil, avocado, or olive oil for their health over soybean oil or canola oil, both of which are very questionable.
However, there is another plant worthy of which to make note. Its seeds are 30% oil, which is amazing. This same plant is considered the most valuable for its properties as far as the ratio between the EFAs.
